Abby and Karl, the cool couple you see here, are living far away from each other at the moment because of school and work.
"…we’re trying to find ways to connect and make memories even when we can’t physically be together.”
This is what Abby said in her questionnaire and I just couldn’t be more excited. Sometimes in our life, everything doesn’t align ideally but we have to find ways to embrace and enjoy what we are facing. That’s what this couple needed and was telling me my photos can help. How can I not be excited about this?
As I am writing this, I am picturing a scene - Many years later, Abby and Karl, sitting in their living room, looking back at these photos and saying, “Remember when I was in Spokane and you were in Seattle? That time was so difficult but we made it through together.”
I think this is exactly why I have so much passion about photography. The vivid memory we currently have fades away as time goes but the photos remain. They will tell you the story over and over again. And I greatly wish that all the photos I took this day will speak to Abby and Karl again and again.
